Why are English people so y and arrogant?

This does not refer to everyone English, but I was reading all these other questions about Americans and English people and everything they say makes me think that they are totally ignorant. They speak like they are the best and totally on top of all other countries. I find it very annoying that they don't understand that not everyone in America is the same. We all have different personalities, just like your country. We kicked your *** in a war a looong time ago, get over it. I'm going to England in about a month, and I love England, its beautiful. I just don't get why some English "lads" have to be such *****. That is all.
