Hurt Thumb.....?

My thumb got hit with a hockey puck going reaally fast. It is a little brusied and it hurts alot to tuch it at all. I can move my thumb alright but not great. This happened yesterdy afternoon. It is also moderratly swollen. Help me....i can't go to the doctor because its thanksgiving. Any ideas for at home treatment?
