Why do beginners always want green/problem horses?

1 mistake that people tend to make is they think a green horse goes well with a green horse person. Other than that, I think, since they have little knowledge of horses, they think that some extra special bond is going to be created for some reason. And in general, they just don't know it's a bad idea since horses can be new to them.
