What genre of animal does a snail belong to?

Mollusk, whats cool is they have an open artery system, they don't have veins or arteries, it's like a small fish tank, they're blood (it's not actually blood, I just don't know what to call it) just free floats in them, moving through they're organs when it gets to it. They are very simple creatures.
